The client was managing complex projects across multiple platforms—including Salesforce, SharePoint, NetSuite, and various acquired systems—but siloed data, manual processes, and inefficiencies were hindering performance and scalability.
BlueCloud delivered two complementary solutions as part of a unified transformation initiative:
- A custom Salesforce and SharePoint integration to streamline document workflows.
- A Snowflake-based data architecture to unify operational data and enable real-time analytics.
Challenge
The client faced inefficiencies, manual workload spikes, and disrupted workflows across multiple state, local, and education projects. They needed to replace a deprecated application with a Salesforce-native solution that could:
- Enable direct interaction with Microsoft SharePoint from Salesforce record pages
- Automate folder creation and record linking in SharePoint when new Salesforce records are created
- Remove reliance on third-party integration tools while ensuring scalability and security
At the same time, scattered data across NetSuite, Salesforce, and multiple acquired entities created:
- Fragmented, siloed data that slowed reporting and obscured operational visibility
- Difficulty maintaining data accuracy and synchronization, including tracking hard deletes
- Challenges integrating legacy on-premises data without disrupting daily operations

Solution
To address the client’s fragmented data and outdated workflows, BlueCloud delivered a custom Salesforce application and a modern Snowflake data platform, combining seamless user experience with powerful automation and scalable data integration.
Salesforce Integration with SharePoint
- Built a Lightning Web Components (LWC) interface embedded directly in Salesforce, enabling intuitive interaction with SharePoint.
- Automated folder creation and record linking using Apex, ensuring real-time synchronization without relying on third-party tools.
- Direct file uploads and secure synchronization streamlined collaboration for government and education teams.
Cloud-Based API Management
The solution was hosted on Microsoft Azure Cloud, providing secure and scalable management of data connections to improve performance and support future growth.
Snowflake Data Pipeline Architecture
- Developed a three-layer Snowflake pipeline leveraging Rivery for seamless ingestion and consolidation of data from NetSuite, Salesforce, and acquired entities.
- Established a structured data lake and warehouse for scalable analytics and reporting.
- Automated data integrity processes, including near real-time processing of source deletes and changes.
Unified Data Hub for Faster Insights
- Created a centralized, query-ready Snowflake environment that empowered teams with faster, more accurate insights, enabling smarter, data-driven decisions and improved operational efficiency across projects.
