Tampa, Fl – [Month Day, 2025] – BlueCloud, a global leader in enterprise AI, data engineering, and Snowflake services, today announced that Rob Sandberg has joined the company as Head of Advisory Consulting. In this newly created strategic role, Sandberg will lead BlueCloud’s Advisory Consulting team and will be responsible for shaping the firm’s go-to-market strategy, AI solution development, and technical pre-sales and solution architecture functions.

Sandberg joins BlueCloud after a highly successful tenure at Hakkōda, where he was one of the first employees and played a significant role in scaling the company from seed funding through its acquisition by IBM. He built and led the company’s AI and automation practice, transforming delivery from traditional project-based consulting into an AI-powered model that relied on reusable accelerators, automated frameworks, and repeatable delivery patterns. These capabilities became the heart of Hakkōda’s differentiation in the market and were recognized as key strategic assets that contributed to IBM’s acquisition.

His work spanned multiple industries including healthcare, financial services, manufacturing, federal government, and biotech. Under his leadership, Hakkōda became a Snowflake Partner of the Year and was recognized as a leading systems integrator in both the Snowflake and AWS ecosystems. Sandberg is known for a strategic and revenue-focused approach to AI, consistently connecting innovation to measurable outcomes and helping organizations adopt AI at scale.

“Rob understands how to turn AI from a concept into tangible business impact,” said Jim Martindale, Chief Executive Officer of BlueCloud. “He has built AI practices that don’t just innovate — they generate revenue, accelerate delivery, and create measurable outcomes for customers. Rob has a track record of identifying where the market is moving and building the structure and solutions to get ahead of it. His leadership will be instrumental as we help enterprises build strong data foundations and adopt AI at scale.”

As Head of Advisory Consulting, Sandberg will guide how BlueCloud positions its solutions in the market, how the organization supports sales cycles, and how customer outcomes are translated into repeatable value. He will be responsible for leading solution positioning, technical case study development, accelerator creation, and technical sales support. His work will empower BlueCloud’s sales team to position BlueCloud as the partner of choice for modern data architecture, analytics transformation, and enterprise AI adoption.

“BlueCloud is uniquely positioned to lead the next era of enterprise AI, where the strength of the data foundation and the ability to automate delivery will determine who scales and who does not,” said Rob Sandberg. “The companies that win will be the ones that treat AI as a transformation strategy rather than a tool. BlueCloud is already ahead of that curve, and I am excited to help accelerate what is possible.”

Sandberg’s background includes engineering and research and development roles in the military and aerospace sectors, followed by applied AI consulting at SFL Scientific, later acquired by Deloitte. He holds a degree in Biomedical Engineering and a MiniMBA from Miami University, combining analytical depth with a business-driven leadership approach.
